If you have been to my Flickr photostream lately, you will see that I have been making progress on pictures from my pseudo-vacation. I am currently working on pictures from October 12.

Progress Update - November 2017

Recent Pictures

During the first two weeks of October, I went on a pseudo-vacation. This was immediately followed by the need to sort through my pictures. I am now getting closer to my normal routine. Pictures have been uploaded to Flickr through September 28. My first batch of vacation pictures is a fairly large one, but it's almost ready. Just be warned, things will have to be put on hold after I get through vacation pictures.

Recent Pictures

As I expected, I managed to get some recent pictures uploaded to Flickr, then I stagnated. I'm not quite ready to explain the hold up. Unfortunately, my backlog has increased, and I need to go through another run of preliminary work before you will see any more pictures. I only have things caught up through July 4.

With the weather starting to improve, I can finally get some work done on recent pictures. I am only done uploading pictures to Flickr through July 1. When I fall behind like this, I have to do some preliminary work on my newest pictures before work appears online. This is going to be a slow process until I get this preliminary work done.

My summer slump continues. I have been struggling with the persistent warmth, and have not found enough time where it has been cool enough to sit by my computer and get things done. I have only uploaded pictures to Flickr through June 23. We're essentially over the hump for the summer. Hopefully, there will be a few decent days to work on pictures before next month's update.

I have fallen well behind again with my Flickr pictures. This is primarily for two reasons. The first has been the weather. I am horrible at getting work done with the warmth that we have been dealing with. I also had some additional work that I needed to get done on some of my pictures. I am only caught up through June 17.

I had fallen significantly behind in pictures, but I am pretty much caught up. I took a few pictures today, and I'm not sure if any will make my collection. Other than that, all recent pictures are on Flickr.

I had been caught up until the weekend hit. I took a lot of pictures over the last couple of days, and some will even make my collection at Flickr. Other than those two days, I am caught up.

Recent Pictures

I managed to get through my Great Backyard Bird Count pictures. I even made a Sway reflecting those four days (although only two days included photography). For the most part, I have been able to keep up with Flickr uploads since then. I have not yet gone through pictures taken yesterday, so I'm not completely caught up, but I'm close.

Pictures taken through February 6 have been uploaded to Flickr. Today was the start of the Great Backyard Bird Count, so I am taking more pictures and have less time to go through them. This is going to cause me to fall behind a bit.

Recent Pictures

I did it! I got through my backlog! I am reverting to an approach where I generally look through pictures weekly and decide from there whether or not to add any to my collection. Whenever I'm caught up, I work on older pictures from my other backlog. Everything on Flickr is done through December 8.

Vacation pictures have been uploaded to Flickr. I am now in the middle of work for my yearly Xmas gift for family, so new pictures are on hold. I have already made a lot of progress, and that uploads should resume before next month's update post.

Recent Pictures

I am still going through my vacation pictures. Flickr uploads are now finished through July 1. One of the pictures from the vacation was used for a challenge photo, so hopefully this shows that challenges aren't dead.

My biggest batch is finished. I believe I am currently working on the largest batch remaining. I'm pretty sure it's the busiest day that I have left. Hopefully things will pick up slightly before coming to a screeching halt. Once I'm done with vacation pictures, I will need to spend time away from edits to prepare my yearly Xmas present to family.

Recent Pictures

I feel like I'm not making progress. I hit another predictable slowdown when the temperatures rose again. Then, I ended up working on one of my larger batches. I am currently editing over 100 pictures from a single stop (although not all of those pictures will bu uploaded to Flickr and made visible to the public). Fortunately, temperatures are dropping again, and my batch is approaching completion. I wouldn't be surprised if the batch is uploaded to Flickr later today. It will take a little longer to add a related post here like I normally do with vacation pictures.

Of course, what I just said doesn't exactly explain where I am in the process. I am currently working on pictures from June 27. I will likely work a lot on these pictures until I am done with vacation pictures. At that time, I will likely cut back my efforts to work on a project.

Progress Update - August 2016

Recent Pictures

I haven't made as much progress as I would like in adding pictures to Flickr. If you know me, you might realize that the warm weather has been slowing me down. I can't handle spending significant time by my computer when I can't get the temperatures down to warm instead of hot. I am currently working on vacation pictures from June 24.

Challenge pictures have also been somewhat problematic for the same reasons. I haven't been getting much work done lately, and my next challenge photo was taken on vacation from a day that I have not reached. These pictures will still show up... eventually.

Progress Update - July 2016

Recent Pictures

I was out of town for a couple of weeks on a vacation. During those weeks, I believe I took thousands of pictures (including blurry pictures none of you will ever see). Needless to say, I once again have a backlog. I am still looking through those pictures. Once I am done with that component, I will start selecting pictures for my collection and editing. According to my notes, only pictures through June 20 have been uploaded to my Flickr account.

As of right now, I am completely caught up with all of my pictures taken since I joined Flickr. When was the last time I could say that? Hopefully, I will be able to say the same next month. And no, this is not one of the signs of the apocalypse.
