Challenge - Week 34

"At our weakest moments, God's power is manifested.  Despite how dark or hopeless things may seem, seek Him and your helplessness will reveal his strength"

- unknown

This Week

I tried to get all of my shots from this year's  Maritime Fest and Tacoma Rail Open House. I didn't have the best ideas on what to take, and I missed out on one picture that I really should have gotten. I also failed to figure out which shots should even be considered until last night. That's why I'm a little slow posting this week.

Challenge 34 - WeakestI'm sure that anyone who rode the shuttles will agree with me about the WEAKEST component of the Maritime Fest.
Challenge 34Here is the MOMENT when an oar splashed into the water. DESPITE how HOPELESS they were to win the race at this point, they kept going.
Challenge 34 - Power/StrengthTrains tend to have a lot of POWER/STRENGTH

Other Ideas

REVEAL/DARK: I encountered two model railroads over the weekend. On Saturday, I took shots of the model railroad at the Tacoma Rail Open House. I wasn't alone, and there were others standing in the spot that I wanted to shoot from. I wanted to get one of the trains coming out of a tunnel so that the train would be revealed after coming through the dark. I still got a shot, but you couldn't tell there was a tunnel and the shot was blurred anyway. On Sunday, I went around a model railroad at a maritime museum. I found a tunnel and a moving train. They were not together.

Flickr Friday - Paper Planes

This is another theme that I would have pursued had it not been for that backlog I keep writing about. I didn't see any paper planes at the Maritime Fest, so I have no picture this week.
