Challenge - Week 50

This week's quote comes from a scripture. Since I am not comfortable using my blog to promote what I do not believe, I will only provide the words that I pursued:
remember, said, prepared, house, among, mansions, Father, man, might, excellent, hope, receive, inheritance, place

This Week

When I saw "Excellent" as a word this week, my thoughts went to Mr. Burns of The Simpsons. "Mansion" was another word that grabbed my attention, and it pointed in the same direction. After looking at the list a little longer, I was reminded of the episode, Burns' Heir. With how many words I could fit with just one picture, that's all I took this week.

Challenge 50There was an episode of The Simpsons when a MAN by the name of Charles Montgomery Burns HOPED to find an heir. He decided thet Bart MIGHT RECEIVE his INHERITANCE. Bart spent time in Mr. Burns HOUSE, which would qualify as a MANSION, to PREPARE him to live AMONG riches. After actors convinced Bart that his family didn't miss him, he started to view Mr. Burns more like a FATHER. Eventually, Bart regained his PLACE with the Simpson family. For those who can't REMEMBER, Mr. Burns is the one who always SAID, "EXCELLENT."

Flickr Friday - Time Travel

This was an intriguing theme because of all of the possibilities. You could get some form of clock (watch maybe) and have it somehow in motion. I couldn't think of anyway to execute on that idea without it becoming too corny. You could show two eras in a picture simultaneously. For example, you could have a young person looking in a mirror with an old person looking back. I don't have a mirror that look good enough for that, and I don't use people in my pictures. You could go back to an old picture and combine it with a new picture from the same spot, but I don't take notes on specific location to match pictures with (I might be able to come close enough for Mt. Saint Helens, but I wasn't going that far for one simple picture). I could also capture an image associated with time travel such as a DeLorean at our local car museum, but I don't want to go to a museum purely for the sake of taking a single picture. I actually had a lot of ideas this week, but each had some sort of issue preventing me from executing. For that reason, I'm passing this week.
