344 Days until the US Open at Chambers Bay

I have been walking Chambers Creek Properties for years. I have been carrying a camera since 2009. With the US Open coming to the Chambers Bay Golf Course, which is part of the property, I have decided to share a picture each day for the 365 days leading up to the tournament. The US Open is scheduled to begin on June 18, 2015. As of today, we are 344 days away. I should probably share a picture of this year's Osprey (Pandion haliaetus) family, especially since it's their first year at their new home. A vacation combined with some bad luck meant that my first sighting of the young on this particular nest this year was July 6. I was giving up hope on seeing them that day when papa Osprey brought home some breakfast. Three little heads poked up.
