211 Days until the US Open at Chambers Bay

I have been walking Chambers Creek Properties for years. I have been carrying a camera since 2009. With the US Open coming to the Chambers Bay Golf Course, which is part of the property, I have decided to share a picture each day for the 365 days leading up to the tournament. The US Open is scheduled to begin on June 18, 2015. As of today, we are 211 days away. On September 16, 2010, the Bridge to the Beach was officially opened. This bridge crosses the railroad tracks to provide public access to the beach. There are plans to eventually extend the bridge to a new structure on the water. There are also plans to add a second access point by tunneling under the tracks at the south side of the park.
