215 Days until the US Open at Chambers Bay

I have been walking Chambers Creek Properties for years. I have been carrying a camera since 2009. With the US Open coming to the Chambers Bay Golf Course, which is part of the property, I have decided to share a picture each day for the 365 days leading up to the tournament. The US Open is scheduled to begin on June 18, 2015. As of today, we are 215 days away. Today's Picture:
Cooper's Hawk
Taken on October 3, 2014

When it comes to Cooper's and Sharp-shinned Hawks, I have always read that it's easier to identify them in flight. Cooper's Hawks generally keep their wings straight with their heads projecting forward. Sharp-shinned Hawks push their wings forward without the head projecting past their wings. This one clearly fits the pattern of a Cooper's Hawk (Accipiter cooperii). That's why I was actually willing to label this one.
