219 Days until the US Open at Chambers Bay

I have been walking Chambers Creek Properties for years. I have been carrying a camera since 2009. With the US Open coming to the Chambers Bay Golf Course, which is part of the property, I have decided to share a picture each day for the 365 days leading up to the tournament. The US Open is scheduled to begin on June 18, 2015. As of today, we are 219 days away. North American River Otters (Lontra canadensis) may not be everyday sightings, but they definitely live on the property. They can be seen either by the beach or along the creek. I'm pretty sure I have seen their footprints a number of times along the North Beach when they have managed to elude me, so I would say they are more common than they seem.

While I'm posting, I want to wish my home state a happy 125th birthday.
