223 Days until the US Open at Chambers Bay

I have been walking Chambers Creek Properties for years. I have been carrying a camera since 2009. With the US Open coming to the Chambers Bay Golf Course, which is part of the property, I have decided to share a picture each day for the 365 days leading up to the tournament. The US Open is scheduled to begin on June 18, 2015. As of today, we are 223 days away. On the old North Dock, there is an old light. Several species love that thing. Among them are our Bald Eagles (Haliaeetus leucocephalus). Starting in the fall, Bald Eagle sightings pick up in this specific area. Not surprisingly, this isn't the best spot to find them during Osprey nesting season. Of course, all of this is now irrelevant as the demise of this perch is right around the corner.
