4 Days until the US Open at Chambers Bay

I have been walking Chambers Creek Properties for years. I have been carrying a camera since 2009. With the US Open coming to the Chambers Bay Golf Course, which is part of the property, I have decided to share a picture each day for the 365 days leading up to the tournament. The US Open is scheduled to begin on June 18, 2015. As of today, we are 4 days away. While on my inflatable kayak trip to pursue the Martins, I obviously had to stop at our Osprey (Pandion haliaetus) nest. This is the first year that they have used this nesting platform. Because they keep getting evicted, this is their third home in three years. The upward angle at this nest makes it somewhat difficult to see inside, but mom is definitely up there. In the future, they are supposed to open a trail that will pass closer to this platform, assuming a developer doesn't throw off those plans.
