312 Days until the US Open at Chambers Bay

I have been walking Chambers Creek Properties for years. I have been carrying a camera since 2009. With the US Open coming to the Chambers Bay Golf Course, which is part of the property, I have decided to share a picture each day for the 365 days leading up to the tournament. The US Open is scheduled to begin on June 18, 2015. As of today, we are 312 days away. This young Osprey (Pandion haliaetus) flew from the dock to its nest. Shots like this have become more difficult due to the relocation of the nest. If you catch one flying to the nest, you now have to look up.
