Challenge 2014 - Week 34

This week has been designated as a week to share a "blessing" for January.

This Week

The Ospreys would have been an easy choice. I have some decent shots and a decent (although predictable) explanation regarding how they could be viewed as a blessing. I decided that I liked another story better. Each year (or at least the two years I have been a member of eBird), I have had a goal to record an absolute minimum of 100 species at Chambers Creek Properties. Although I have not yet posted the checklist to eBird, I reached that number today with an all-time first. I have recorded my first Black Turnstones. It looks like I probably won't be flagged on this one even though it will only be the 5th record on the Puget Sound south of Point Defiance.

I think the theme was something along the lines of no filter. While I generally don't use a filter, I didn't have any good ideas that actually say, "No filter." Of course, I might have gotten the theme wrong. I never wrote it down. Also I did not pursue it.
