276 Days until the US Open at Chambers Bay

I have been walking Chambers Creek Properties for years. I have been carrying a camera since 2009. With the US Open coming to the Chambers Bay Golf Course, which is part of the property, I have decided to share a picture each day for the 365 days leading up to the tournament. The US Open is scheduled to begin on June 18, 2015. As of today, we are 276 days away. Pacific Harbor Seals (Phoca vitulina richardsi) are seen regularly on the Puget Sound. Occasionally, you can find one using the beach. You should try to keep your distance from these seals to avoid disturbing them, but that can be tricky. They can blend in with the rocks and they can come to shore behind you. When this happens, I usually try to move up as far on the beach as I can.
