Challenge 2014 - Week 38

"The full measure of a man is not to be found in the man himself, but in the colors and textures that come alive in others because of him."

This Week

When I was thinking of color and texture, I thought that a macro shot of a pumpkin would probably work. While trying to figure out where on the pumpkin to shoot, I found an insect. I could attach "alive" to that one. Not only that, but I found it.

Challenge 38The insect I FOUND on top of the COLOR AND TEXTURE of a pumpkin is very much ALIVE.

I didn't pay attention to the theme this week. I think I heard it was bokeh. Perhaps I could have come up with something. I wouldn't be surprised if some of my shots taken during the weekend had a decent bokeh since I usually shoot wildlife wide open. I have other things to do, so I'm not going to look for a shot to submit to Flickr Friday.
