144 Days until the US Open at Chambers Bay

I have been walking Chambers Creek Properties for years. I have been carrying a camera since 2009. With the US Open coming to the Chambers Bay Golf Course, which is part of the property, I have decided to share a picture each day for the 365 days leading up to the tournament. The US Open is scheduled to begin on June 18, 2015. As of today, we are 144 days away. Pileated Woodpeckers (Dryocopus pileatus) are primarily seen in the Canyon. That is where I found this one. I have also seen these woodpeckers by the switchbacks on the North side of the park and in the trees above the East Slope Trail. Because the mustache mark is red, I can tell that this is a male.
