146 Days until the US Open at Chambers Bay

I have been walking Chambers Creek Properties for years. I have been carrying a camera since 2009. With the US Open coming to the Chambers Bay Golf Course, which is part of the property, I have decided to share a picture each day for the 365 days leading up to the tournament. The US Open is scheduled to begin on June 18, 2015. As of today, we are 146 days away. I'm overdue for another action shot. Here are a couple female Surf Scoters (Melanitta perspicillata). These are common ducks seen on the Puget Sound. They used to hang out by the North Dock. Now that the dock has been removed, it's kind of nice to see them frequently in the same area.
