149 Days until the US Open at Chambers Bay

I have been walking Chambers Creek Properties for years. I have been carrying a camera since 2009. With the US Open coming to the Chambers Bay Golf Course, which is part of the property, I have decided to share a picture each day for the 365 days leading up to the tournament. The US Open is scheduled to begin on June 18, 2015. As of today, we are 149 days away. Western Sword Fern

This Western Sword Fern (Polystichum munitum) was covered in snow during one of my walks in the Canyon. Personally, I prefer a lighter coating of snow. That would make it easier to see the fern while still turning it a wintry white.
