77 Days until the US Open at Chambers Bay

I have been walking Chambers Creek Properties for years. I have been carrying a camera since 2009. With the US Open coming to the Chambers Bay Golf Course, which is part of the property, I have decided to share a picture each day for the 365 days leading up to the tournament. The US Open is scheduled to begin on June 18, 2015. As of today, we are 77 days away. You can't see the tail very well on this Red-tailed Hawk (Buteo jamaicensis). You can still tell enough from the pattern for identification. Among the things you should look for is the white breast (although some birds of this species do not show that feature).
