26 Days until the US Open at Chambers Bay

I have been walking Chambers Creek Properties for years. I have been carrying a camera since 2009. With the US Open coming to the Chambers Bay Golf Course, which is part of the property, I have decided to share a picture each day for the 365 days leading up to the tournament. The US Open is scheduled to begin on June 18, 2015. As of today, we are 26 days away. Red-winged Blackbirds (Agelaius phoeniceus) are great targets in the spring. They perch themselves out in the open and make their calls. As you should be able to tell from this picture, the males are the ones who give the species its name.
