28 Days until the US Open at Chambers Bay

I have been walking Chambers Creek Properties for years. I have been carrying a camera since 2009. With the US Open coming to the Chambers Bay Golf Course, which is part of the property, I have decided to share a picture each day for the 365 days leading up to the tournament. The US Open is scheduled to begin on June 18, 2015. As of today, we are 28 days away. Here's a male Hooded Merganser (Lophodytes cucullatus). The crest with the white patch is distinctive. He can actually lower his crest, so the head sometimes appears smaller with the white patch looking more like a line on the back of his head.
