38 Days until the US Open at Chambers Bay

I have been walking Chambers Creek Properties for years. I have been carrying a camera since 2009. With the US Open coming to the Chambers Bay Golf Course, which is part of the property, I have decided to share a picture each day for the 365 days leading up to the tournament. The US Open is scheduled to begin on June 18, 2015. As of today, we are 38 days away. Violet-green Swallows (Tachycineta thalassina) are not easy targets. They don't like to stand still for me, and their flight patterns are erratic. This one was kind enough to actually land for me in a section of the park that has since been closed to the public.
