Challenge - Week 27

This Week

I thought that I was going to have to delay until Monday again. Temperatures today were supposed to hit 80, but the clouds lasted longer than expected. Thank you clouds. I also decided to bring an old picture into the challenge to represent wilderness and desert.

Pictures

	***Old Picture*** Most of Olympic National Park, which includes the mountains seen in this picture, is designated as WILDERNESS. While rain forests can be found on the western slopes of the mountains, areas to the northeast are generally stuck in a rain shadow. By my standards, that makes the Dungeness Spit a DESERT.
	Look what I FOUND this week, a mother Northern Flicker (Colaptes auratus) feeding one of its young (there are at least two) in the COMFORT of their own nest.
	Song Sparrow (Melospiza melodia) using its VOICE and providing a MELODY

Flickr Friday - Yesterday

I am still struggling with a huge backlog. Until I'm caught up, I will not pursue Flickr Friday very aggressively. No ideas popped into my head, so I will be skipping another week.
