Challenge - Week 30

This week's quote comes from a scripture. Since I am not comfortable using my blog to promote what I do not believe, I will only provide the words that I pursued:

Lift up, Heads, Comfort, Have made, People, Deliver, Burdens, Backs

This Week

It was a bird-heavy week as all the shot I'm using feature a bird seen at Chambers Creek Properties. I was tempted to use more Osprey pictures (I had a back picture), but decided to add a little variety. Like always for this time of year, I'm not at my best due to the heat. Hopefully, I still did well enough.

Pictures

Challenge 30 - BackThe BACK of a Mourning Dove (Zenaida macroura) at Chambers Creek Properties
Challenge 30 - Lift Up/BurdenYou can tell by watching this Great Blue Heron (Ardea herodias) at Chambers Creek Properties that it is a BURDEN to carry itself in flight. In this shot, I found it LIFTING UP its wings for another strong wing beat.
Challenge 30 - HeadThe HEAD of a Lesser Yellowlegs (Tringa flavipes) at Chambers Creek Properties
Challenge 30This Osprey (Pandion haliaetus) at Chambers Creek Properties is DELIVERING part of a fish to some little PEOPLE in the COMFORT of the nest that the parents HAVE MADE for them. The young have LIFTED UP their HEADS as they watched their incoming food.

Other Ideas

Lift up: I originally wanted to get one of the young Ospreys lifting up off of the nest. I have already seen the young Ospreys on a less photogenic nest flying. I still haven't seen the young Ospreys from the close nest in flight.

Flickr Friday - Double Exposure

I'm still struggling with a backlog. While the last two Flickr Friday themes were very easy, this one would take a little more work. Until I'm caught up, I'm passing up on these kinds of themes. I was tempted, however. This was one of the more intriguing themes.
