249 Days until the US Open at Chambers Bay

I have been walking Chambers Creek Properties for years. I have been carrying a camera since 2009. With the US Open coming to the Chambers Bay Golf Course, which is part of the property, I have decided to share a picture each day for the 365 days leading up to the tournament. The US Open is scheduled to begin on June 18, 2015. As of today, we are 249 days away. While Red-tailed Hawks (Buteo jamaicensis) tend to be seen more often while flying, there are plenty of opportunities to find them standing around. I believe this one was along the path between between the Soundview Trail and the East Slope Trail.
