255 Days until the US Open at Chambers Bay

I have been walking Chambers Creek Properties for years. I have been carrying a camera since 2009. With the US Open coming to the Chambers Bay Golf Course, which is part of the property, I have decided to share a picture each day for the 365 days leading up to the tournament. The US Open is scheduled to begin on June 18, 2015. As of today, we are 255 days away. Today's Picture:
Black-bellied Plover
Taken on October 5, 2014

Once again, I have been flagged at eBird for reporting a bird that is considered rare for Pierce County. This time, a couple Black-bellied Plovers (Pluvialis squatarola) on the South Beach were the culprits. I got a little lucky with the identification thanks to a recent trip to the coast that required me to do a little research on the species. I looked for the black armpits in flight, and I found them.
