Today's Picture:

Taken on March 10, 2013
This is a pair of Barrow's Goldeneyes (Bucephala islandica) on Chambers Creek. The male is in back with the female in front. You can easily tell the species of male by the crescent shaped patch near the eye. The female is a little tougher. I believe I have already talked about the shape difference between them and our Common Goldeneyes. Rather than repeat myself, let me point out that proximity to the male can really help figure out which species she belongs to.
What? You wanted more for us being down to 100 days? Fine. Here's a link to a puzzle that I made after Chambers Bay hosted the 2010 US Amateur: https://onedrive.live.com/redir?resid=2E6EFB80915ED5BD!3442&authkey=!AO4UXG_fktTAAos&ithint=file%2cpdf
