329 Days until the US Open at Chambers Bay

I have been walking Chambers Creek Properties for years. I have been carrying a camera since 2009. With the US Open coming to the Chambers Bay Golf Course, which is part of the property, I have decided to share a picture each day for the 365 days leading up to the tournament. The US Open is scheduled to begin on June 18, 2015. As of today, we are 329 days away. While I have had several sightings of Spotted Sandpipers (Actitis macularius) near the dam along Chambers Creek, most have been near the south dock. They live up to their name during breeding season with the spots disappearing in the winter. If you see one anytime soon, it will likely look like the bird in this picture.
