Progress Update - July 2014

Recent Pictures

I was on vacation from June 19 through July 4 (the 4th was a recovery day with no pictures taken). During this time, I added a lot of pictures that I need to go through. Due to hot temperatures, I have struggled to sit at my computer and get things done. I already had a backlog before the vacation started. Until I am done tagging and sorting through vacation pictures, I can't justify editing or uploading any pictures unless they are particularly high priority (challenges, martins). Basically, I am done through June 8, but am still holding off on pictures taken June 12th and later. Due to my countdown to the U.S. Open, I will probably try to catch up with pictures from Chambers Creek Properties before I start editing and uploading vacation pictures.

Older Pictures

With my backlog of recent pictures, I have not gotten any work in on adding pictures to my Flickr account that were taken before I signed up.

eBird

With my struggles to keep up with recent pictures, eBird has been a low priority for me. Pictures have only been added to eBird checklists through May 3.

Personal Projects

I am maintaining my Countdown to the Open. Even though this is public, I am treating it as a personal project. Similarly, I am still prioritizing purple martins when they cooperate along with the tides. Since heat tends to cut my walks short, it is less likely for me to include the martins in my walks. Other projects are on hold until I get through the backlog.
