298 Days until the US Open at Chambers Bay

I have been walking Chambers Creek Properties for years. I have been carrying a camera since 2009. With the US Open coming to the Chambers Bay Golf Course, which is part of the property, I have decided to share a picture each day for the 365 days leading up to the tournament. The US Open is scheduled to begin on June 18, 2015. As of today, we are 298 days away. Last week, I shared a picture of a Peregrine Falcon (Falco peregrinus) that landed on the fence by the dog park. I stuck with the bird until it flew. Unfortunately, my camera wasn't in the ideal orientation. I wasn't expecting it to fly just then. I still felt that getting a shot of a falcon taking off at a reasonable distance was worth the clipped wings.
