Challenge - Week 42

This week's quote comes from a scripture. Since I am not comfortable using my blog to promote what I do not believe, I will only provide the words that I pursued:

Commanded, Strong, Courage, Not Afraid, Goest

This Week

I didn't have many ideas for this one. I was hoping to stumble onto ideas during my walks. Unfortunately, we had a persistent fog. I didn't see much. I had to come up with ideas as I returned home today. It wasn't easy since I have been feeling frustrated all day (I swear that Barred Owl was mocking me). I took a quick shot of a green light for goest. That couldn't be all. I had to get more this week than a single archaic word. An idea popped into my head for courage. We have a toy alligator. I also have several golf balls in my room. Happy Gilmore popped into my head, and I suddenly found a way to get to a whopping two shots for the week. The alligator shot was another improvised chroma key experiment. I found a Chambers Bay picture (I struggled to find one that worked because most of my shots are overlooks rather than from the golf course) and added it to the background. I also had to do a little touching up (The golf ball should not show a part of the course).

Challenge 42 - GoestYou can GOEST. The light's green.
Challenge 42BE NOT AFRAID. You should have the COURAGE to COMMAND your hand to grab the golf ball from the STRONG alligator's mouth.

Flickr Friday - May The Force Be With You

Yippee! A theme based on a corny movie with awful acting and outdated special effects that has been known to put me to sleep. I did briefly consider a poker play on words, may the fours be with you (fours as a four-of-a-kind). I didn't want to figure out all the details of how to make the shot of a game I don't play look semi-realistic without enough players, especially since I am still dealing with the mandatory reduced effort caused by my backlog.
